Oh, Halloween... You Bitter-Sweet Squash !!
I love Halloween!! I really do! I don't always dress-up but I love all the Horror movies and shows. Like The Simpsons tonight two episodes of Tree House Of Horror Awwwesoooome! And on NPR right now they are playing the Sorcerer's Apprentice symphonic poem by Paul Dukas. I love Halloween! But when Halloween day actually comes around I am usually not in a position to do anything on the day of. I remember when I was still in Gainesville I used to watch the Religious channel because they would spend the whole evening trashing other religions especially pagans, wiccans, "satanists"(I've known some satanists and they are pretty cool people.)etc, etc... I think they did more to promote these groups than the groups could have done on their own. Anyways, back to my thesis: I guess I love the Halloween Season. And I hate it when it ends. Maybe I should take up Ministry's philosophy "Everyday is Halloween."
