This just happened five minutes ago: Coworker T pointed out that I was being awfully quiet over here in my cubicle, and asked if I was okay. I replied cheerily, "No, I'm lying here on the floor with a spear through my chest."
And coworker D says, "You are?" And COMES OVER TO CHECK.

I do want to say that coworker D is a good-natured guy who laughed along with the rest of us when he realized what he'd done.
