Tickets sold out again? I was vaguely contemplating going, but found Faust a bit creepy, so hadn't decided whether to see this or not. There were quite a few tickets left a few days ago, so I might check again at random points in the future.

I didn't see Faust but from what I've heard, Masque is less narrative-driven and more of a mood piece. I didn't find it creepy, or at least not in a bad way. Deliciously creepy at times, in the sense of heightened adrenaline and sensory stimulation, particularly when exploring alone.

Give them a ring and see if they've got tickets the website can on occasion be wrong.

Masque can be very creepy if you get involved in one of a number of 'personal performances' where one of the performers drags someone from the audience into a cupboard for a monologue. I had a very creepy encounter with one of the serving girls who I was following on my own. But it's always an invitation to get involved in that stuff, you don't have to accept.

Glad you saw it as everyone should, it is simply marvellous and breathtaking :).

Yes, at the beginning (while still trying to acclimatise to one's mask) one is giving a few brief pieces of instruction, including the exhortation to "be brave" ie. go along with those unexpected twists. Good advice.

And yeah, I've heard that the website can be mistaken; always worth 'phoning up to check.

There are tickets on sale for tomorrow at the moment, so I guess there will be future tickets on sale as well.

There y'go. If you're in a position to buy short-notice tickets, I absolutely recommend that you see it ("see it" seems inadequate, really).
