What a trip! Four legs on an airplane, nearly 2,000 miles of driving, family, music, history--I'll write up more of a report after I've had a bit of time to digest. All very successful, but exhausting.

Unfortunately, I wrote not a word on "Sword." But I will today and tomorrow! Another chapter or bust....

WooHoo! Welcome back. I was just thinking about you a couple of hours ago and realizing I had completely lost track of time and had no idea when you were due back. I want to encourage you to work on the epic novel, but then, again, I love travel logs.

Thanks for voting on my Elrond story at Hasa--it just squeaked by...given that 4 out of 9 reviewers that it was ineffective/unexceptional; unimaginative; and poorly written. The other one languishes still from lack of interest (yeah, lucky you, missed an entire day of me wingeing, so I thought I should catch you up).

Wants some other updates: Jael has started a Legolas fic based on the Last Temptation of Christ (but guess it's not slash since she's posting drafts at G of I, although I do post parts of chapters myself, otherwise there'd be damn little for me to post).

What else, besides my whining, of course. Missed you. Avari's baby is to be born via ceasarian in two weeks. Dawn read my next chapter of A New Day and says I should write more explicit sex more often.
