my birthday
I've been so bad about writing for people's birthdays this last year, I wasn't going to post a birthday request. But oshun has demanded one from me, so I will post one here (not at HASA, where my record for the past year has been execrable). So here goes:
Write me a drabble or story about the Elessar. This could be about it in any of its incarnations in either of the scenarios Tolkien wrote for it (that there was one such stone, and Gandalf brought it back from Valinor and gave it to Galadriel, or that there were two, the second coming to Aragorn). So you could write about anything from Idril in Gondolin wearing the stone, or Earendil at any point after he inherits it, or its making, or Galadriel, Celebrian, Arwen, Aragorn....including a gapfiller about what happens to it after Aragorn's death.
I'm hoping that this request will make both the Third Agers and the Sil freaks happy.
