Alice Coltrane (Turiya Sangitananda)
Alice Coltrane died Friday at West Hills Hospital in Los Angeles. I regret that I never saw her perfor. I have seen Ravi, her son by John. She actually recorded an album last year and had been touring to support it with Roy Haynes, Charlie Haden, and Ravi.
