No, Hirose-sensei's not bad one-to-one. We talked about music for quite a while one day--he'd wanted to be a rock singer and that's why he'd originally gone to America. But his attitude in front of groups and the fact that it's his job to keep everybody in line (which I realize) makes everyone nervous around him. And I felt really bad for Sakakibara-sensei. I refused to do anything that might make her look worse, what with all the trouble she has anyway.

What I meant was urusei. As you might have noticed, however, I cannot spell in my own native language, so it would be logical that I would not be able to spell in a foriegn one. I had never seen the word written, and I asked Katie, but she's just as bad with spelling as I am, apparently. :P The "ei" ending is usually considered the guy version and makes things stronger. So, instead of just being noisy, Joel was being really freaking loud. I've heard it with itai-itei, kusai-kusei, and Katie always says dasei instead of dasai. So yes. I get to pass on Katie's knowledge of slang Japanese. :)
