Oh, wow, this thing's still here...

I don't write in this thing often enough to have it.

Anyway. A very, very compressed version of events, mostly for my own record keeping, because they would not make sense to anyone else.

I bought four new manga, from two different series, and now I have to go hunt down the rest of them.
I may be in Ikebukuro on Sunday, any stuff any of y'all want (that don't have access to it yourselves)?
Okinawa was fun.
I bought: two handmade Okinawa glass wine-glass looking things; a pair of shiisaa (guard lions), a glass necklace, pineapple wine (for my parents, although if they don't like it, I do); pineapple wine cake (for my host family, but I got to eat part of it); black sugar; a spoon; a sea turtle figurine; and the aforementioned manga.
I got to eat sugar cane.
I got married and now have three kids. One's white, one's black, and one's Asian, and my husband is gay, so I'm not sure how all of this developed, but whatever.
I braved YaJu's doujinshi collection and managed to escape more or less unscathed.
We also went through YaJu's music and video collection, which was entertaining.
The bus ride was actually not a pain like it was in Nagano.
The beaches were awesome. For me, at least.
Fought a war over the last three Hershey's kisses, and everyone lost because Alex or Nick, one, squished them.
Pixie Sticks and Chu-hi should not be mixed.
We had brains for supper. Or at least YaJu did.
"Naked o'clock" is now the proper term for "going to the onsen."
The whale shark at the aquarium's name is now Gendo. The remoras that are always with him do not have names.

Eh... that's all I can think of now. Anything I forgot? Two of my children have these things, and will know what I'm talking about. My silly middle child uses Xanga...
