I am now tired and irritated but I also have a computer that works. Yay. I even managed to do this without wiping everything, which I thought might be my only option when I couldn't get windows to load. But it didn't come down to that, and so instead have only lost three-quarters of one homework assignment that I had left open in excel, but apparently didn't save. Chalk one up to my stupidity.
