Oh hai winter.

It's pretty dreary out here.  But it's the kind of dreary that I like - and also, of course, the kind that makes me hope that I'll be able to stay inside (at my computer) until summer.  I love being able to look out the window and not see the city (and also not be blinded by the sunlight like I am most of the winter).  AND HEY, THERE'S SNOW.  REAL SNOW.  IT'S WARM ENOUGH TO SNOW :D

Not least due to the weather, I'm in a very wintery mood.  Lots of seasonal feelings.  I want to decorate a Christmas tree and make a gingerbread house and drag someone outside to go sledding and make snow angels with me.

Yeah, I'm not doing any of that.  I'm sitting in my room and looking out the window, savouring a general love for the world, plus also the joy of being done both NaNoWriMo novels.

It's actually super weird to be done them.  I feel like I have crazy amounts of free time, suddenly.  And I also have moments where I sit down to work at something and then don't know what to work on.

Except that I totally have tonnes to work on.  smut_fest (the lovely mods very kindly gave me an extension, thank the lord), apocalypsebang (which, at some point, I should actually start), kink_bigbang (ditto), bingo cards, all your gifts ;) et cetera.  But no single (double) huge pressing project like the novels.

It's nice :)

I'm also doing two different Advent calendar challenges - I almost did four, but I stopped myself.  I'm doing awdt's Quickies Advent Calendar - which is a pretty standard drabble prompt set - and also hp_unfaithful's Pseudo-Advent Calendar Festlet, which is way more awesome, because all the prompts for it are infidelity-themed.  Fun stuff.

One other thing.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4elxXybSuzo <--- This video is crazy.  I have to keep pausing it to let out my witty or not rebuttals to the anti-gay marriage arguments.  He suggests that if the most important thing about sex is the pleasure, we should rename it orgasmia, for Christ's sake.  Instead of sex.  Internet, get on this linguistic change.  The video is the better part of two hours long, but I'm thoroughly enjoying it, both for the goofy arguments, the ones that make me want to punch people in the faces, and the legitimately thought-provoking ones.
