FIVE. [accidental video]
[There's a video montage of Bruce doing science-y things: clipping the petals off of a bunch of long-stemmed white flowers, distilling the nectar through drips into beakers, running it through a lone cylindrical beaker on a homemade centrifuge-slash-turntable. He pricks a cut on his finger and puts the blood on a clean slide, then adds a few drops of the concentrated nectar.
Bruce slides it into place in the microscope and stares breathlessly through the viewfinder at it. After a few moments, he curses - not angrily, but hopelessly, morosely. He sinks onto the rickety table he's been working at and puts his face in his hands.
A few seconds later, he looks up and starts typing. Courtesy of the community, you can see him speaking on a black screen to one "Mr. Blue".]
MR. GREEN -- Another failure.
MR. BLUE -- How much did you use? :(
MR. GREEN -- All of it.
MR. BLUE -- Then it's time to meet
MR. GREEN -- Not safe.
MR. BLUE -- Living with GAMMA poisoning not safe.
MR. BLUE -- Stop chasing flowers
MR. BLUE -- Send me a blood sample
MR. BLUE -- Can't help if you won't let me.
[He doesn't say anything. But he gets up, ties a piece of yellowed rubber around his upper arm, and draws his own blood. Afterward he places the syringe in a bubble-wrapped paper mailer and sits down to write the address on it.]
[ooc: Do you think you recognize this? Well, you do, it's the beginning of the movie! In other words, canon start. It'll take several weeks before Iron Man 2 starts up, but this is your last chance to talk to Bruce before he's on the move, so take it or leave it. \o/]
