They sell DDR kits for use at gyms and schools and the like...usually 2 working mats, and a dozen or two "stationary" mats that aren't hooked up to the system, that people can work out on while waiting for a hooked up mat, or just to use in general. Like an aerobics class I suppose. I don't have a gym membership, but if someone put in DDR (either arcade machines or mats) I'd definately join up!
I think it's a mixed bag, personally. On the one hand, it's a brilliant idea and one that has been proven to help, but on the other, if you're going to or signing up for the gym, chances are you aren't going for DDR or something along those lines.
Nonetheless, I don't suppose it would hurt to mention it. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
