Lion cubs (with bonus klipspringer calf)

I was having some problems with online zoo membership renewal, so I went over to Henry Doorly Zoo after Easter breakfast to take care of that. Of course, I had to bring my camera for a lion cub visit.

They've just turned three months old.

One was drowsing up front (the cubs' aunt snuck in here):

And another all the way back:

A couple were up on one of the ledges:

I don't know if this cub was just really hungry, or if it fell asleep while nursing:

And then play time broke out:

Quit playing on top of me, you woke me up!

I'm going to go see Mommy:

Time for Bonus Klipspringer calf -- this one was born January 26, so it's just turned 2 months old. The zoo workers haven't gotten it away from Mama, so they don't know if it's male or female yet. (Since the mother's taking care of the baby just fine, they don't want to interfere. They'll probably give the calf its first checkup in a month.)
