Red Fox, Su, and Lau are heading to the Peak with a very sullen, fuming Caldwell. The tension is so thick, you could cut it with a knife. Seeing Caldwell's display of power, none of the players, nor Lau, want to really talk to Caldwell about what happened at the bar but eventually they do. Lau gets a very terse 'yes' from Caldwell to asking if he wanted Lau contact Heidi back at what was left of the Blossom to meet them at the Peak to see the New Year fireworks. Lau calls in to the Blossom, and is relieved at the fact that Heidi agrees to meet them there. Caldwell also relaxes, too.
Meanwhile, Lo is hightailing it to the Peak and calls into his station to tell them that Caldwell and company who have trashed the Lotus Blossom are heading to the Peak. He is informed that a SWAT team will be moved in to take care of things.
Caldwell and company arrive at the Peak, a commerical/tourist building built at the highest point of the island. It has a commanding view of Victoria Harbour and is the best place to see the New Year fireworks display happening in the harbour. The group end up in Marshenmovenpick, a European version of Picadilly Cafeteria. Caldwell excuses himself after he catches sight of his main squeeze and they go out to the veranda.
Once that occurs, Su pounces on Lau and demands to know the truth about Caldwell. Lau, feebly resists, but then just breaks down and tells her. Caldwell is not an investment banker. His real name is Huan Ken, a sorceror of extreme power who apparently used to rule the world in an alternate timeline. Lau explained that he is actually an inventor and he created a device which inadvertently created portals to a dimension called the Netherworld. Lau wandered around the Netherworld until he found Ken's domain and charmed his way into the place. Huan Ken, and his three other siblings, now reside in the Netherworld after their history was wiped from existence. Huan Ken is known as the King of the Thunder Pagoda. At his prime Ken ruled central Europe and declared himself Pope, hence the reason why everyone calls him, "Your Eminence." Su is reluctant to believe, but seeing his Ken's power has little reason to doubt Lau.
Just before as the fireworks are about to begin, a firey contrail appears in the sky, high above the Peak. As the contrail gets closer, it is actually a fire breathing Chinese Dragon, ridden by a man wearing Han period clothes. The man calls out to Huan Ken and asks if he has reconsidered his position on the 'offer'." Ken replies, "Kung Hei Fat CHOY, MOTHERFUCKER!" and lets loose a blast of lightning knocking the man off the dragon, which promptly vanishes. People start screaming and heading for the exits, Red Fox makes his way to the top of the Peak and watches the fight from above.
The slightly electrocuted sorceror stands up, doddering back and forth from Huan Ken's strike. Smirking, Ken raises and open palm to the skies. Immediately, the clear night sky is clouded over, blotting out the moon and thunder roils ominously overhead. Ken gives his outmatched opponent to yield, to which the sorceror retorts that Ken has no idea who he is fooling with. The sorceror casts a spell at Ken, which promptly does nothing. Ken closes his fist.
And the sorceror does the Merry Electrocution Dance from a bolt of lightning from the murky skies.
While the sorceror dies, Red Fox hears a noise from someone entering the roof and hides. The newcomer wears a eldritch sword strapped to his back and has a sniper rifle at the ready. He takes position at the edge of the roof and sets up to take a shot at Huan Ken. Red Fox interrupts the sniper and the battle is joined.
Meanwhile, Lo arrives at the Peak and browbeats Lau into spilling the beans about Caldwell's real identity. Lo then tells Lau and Ken to get out of there before the cops arrive. Lau pulls out a device, pops a Netherworld portal, and they leave.
Back at the roof, Red Fox and the sniper are going at it. Su reaches the roof and joins in. At the height of the fight, all of them hear the tattoo of helicopter rotors. They turn in the direction of the sound and are dumbfounded by what they see. A large mountain gorilla, with a chain gun replacing his right arm and equipped with a personal helipack slowly rises into view. They are even more dumbfounded when the ape speaks.
"Attention! Due to circumstances beyond my control. Scratch that, due to circumstances within my control, I hereby inform you that the Peak will blow up in approximately three minutes. If you don't to be a stain and a memory, I highly recommend that you hightail it out the building... now."
Sniper goes into a fighting stance before the hovering ape, the ape merely responds by letting his chaingun muzzles spin threateningly. "Don't even try it, pal." Sniper takes the hint and hauls ass, as do the rest of the players.
The next scenes you see are more flying monkeys zipping around the exterior of the Peak, placing bombs at key locations. At the final scene, a monkey zips up to the ape and says, "George, the place is clear and primed." Furious George grunts approval and activates the detonator.
A huge fireball, easily drowning out the anemic fireworks down below, erupts on Victoria's Peak. Debris lands in the water several miles away, sending columns of water into the air.
End scene, roll credits.....
