I started work at Dr. Doom's fear fall this week. What fun.
Actually, I'm kidding. I love my new job. The pay is less than I was making at Sprint, but the job is so much les stressful. If I have a customer that is dissatisfied, I can simply strap them in and shoot them up the tower, isntead of sit on the phone with them for an hour and a half, getting a manager, and then trying to sell them something that they don't really need. besides that, the people I work with are a blast to be around.
I went to the flogging molly concert at the house of blues a couple weeks ago. Ho-lee-crap. They put on an awesome show. all sorts of irish drunken revelry. the only problem I had all night was the "punk vote" add they had right before the show. Punk Vote is a sort of "rock the vote" campaign, but with one noticible difference: they are heavily Liberaly biased. As a matter of fact, the spokesman they had was wearing an "internationall terrorist" shirt, with a picture of Geroge W. on it. Now, I know to some that seems really cool. The problem I have with it is not that they are telling people to vote against and are making fun of the president; I am a conservative, so that's insulting, but it's their oppinion, so it's cool. the problem that I had was that they were telling all the young, impressionalbe minds in that place WHO to vote for at all. Their whole message was not, "GO out and vote, cause it's punk", it was "Go out and vote against bush, and if you don't, you obviously not punk". I would be just as concerned if they were telling everyone in there to vote for Bush. it's brainwashing, and it's wrong.
