NYTE New York City serves as a vital connections hub for the entire globe. Each day, somebody or something within the city makes some sort of connection to every known region in the world.
Over the next 48 hours, the hosts will be making posts to the community highlighting a different region of the globe and specific instructions with how to "contact" this region. You will need to use teamwork on your tribe to maintain the line of communication to the rest of the world.
If members from a tribe are too slow to respond to the communications call, they will be cut off from communication (therefore eliminated from the challenge and unable to aide their tribe to safety). By the end of this challenge, the tribe that maintains this critical communications link will win immunity: therefore, the first tribe to have all members eliminated from competition will attend Tribal Council.
Example: All 17 active in competition; 9 on Diei, 8 on Noctis

Noctis member 1: Berlin
Noctis member 2: Hamburg
Diei member 1: München
Diei member 2: Köln
Diei member 3: Frankfurt
Noctis member 3: Essen
Diei member 4: Dortmund
Noctis member 4: Stuttgart
Diei member 5: Düsseldorf
Noctis member 5: Bremen
Noctis member 6: Hannover
Noctis member 7: Duisburg
Diei member 6: Nürnberg
Diei member 7: Leipzig
Noctis member 8: Dresden
Diei member 8: Bochum
By this example, the 9th member of Diei would be eliminated from all future legs of this competition and would no longer be able to assist their tribe to immunity. It would now be down to 8 vs. 8 from each tribe to comment accordingly on each subsequent leg of the competition.
This challenge begins with 9 vs. 8. To its advantage, Diei has one extra member. Noctis, as a result of losing the last challenge, the eight of you must collectively share a larger responsibility in order to carry your team to victory. Let's hope you can make up this extra weight against your momentum.
The challenge will continue as long as there is at least one representative from each tribe active in competition. Whether this takes ten legs to finish or fifteen, as soon as a tribe has all members eliminated, the challenge ends.
In addition, some legs will have single-cuts...others, may have multiple Survivors cut. Each leg will have different requirements to be explained in the specific post, but will retain a global communications theme. These posts may occur at any hour!
But fear not the need to stay up until ungodly hours in the morning for concern of your individual safety in the game: this is a challenge about teamwork. The explained process above to obtain tribal immunity has nothing to do with individual immunity. Work shifts, assign times within your tribe...whatever you need to do to guarantee your tribe's victory over the opposition. This challenge is not about you, it is about your tribe.
Instead, individual immunity comes down to (as forewarned) confessional points. The members of the losing tribe will then compete in an individual challenge where those with higher confessional points will have a clear advantage in obtaining safety.
And the challenge begins...
NOW.
S5B, challenge05: global communication, leg 1
