My birthday weekend was suprisingly good. No one made me feel old at 31, and that's a good thing. Suprising number of birthday wishes from unexpected sources too, including the girl I dated in high school! Had an early celebration with my family on Thursday, which ended in costuming discussions (I'm so looking forward to seeing Jan in that dress...)
Gaming was the highlight of the weekend, starting with Magic on Friday. I brought snow propagandorb with me, which acted with suprising aggression. Threw a great deal of people off guard to see me go on the offensive. At the end, Julian handed me Secrets of Xen'drik for a birthday gift. It was so cute!
Yesterday we played Xen'drik expeditions (Crimson Codex faction) at sabbato's house. The adventure went suprisingly well, however we took a whole ten minutes to solve a paragraph long cryptogram. I should be making much better time than that. On a lighter note, we took the grell apart.
Completely unrelated: I'd like to make a request to all the sexy nerdy girls who read my journal. I would like pics of you in fairy wings. Why? I make custom tokens for when I play magic. And I want to beat my opponent over the head with you when I get my new faerie deck together.
