The things I pick up

Sometimes my grandmother comes out in the oddest little phrases that I say. Usually, it is the "slower than molasses in January" saying that I picked up from her, but occasionally one of her other unusual idioms pops out of my mouth. In this case, I described our winters as "colder than a welldigger's toes."
