Big milestone for me (and for others) this week: The first record by Candles Enough, the EP "Fire on the Hill" is now available for download. (Physical copies will also be here soon if you still prefer those.) This is a 4-song preview of their full-length "Trial by Fire" which I promise will be out someday. I produced this and played bass and percussion and did a little bit of singing - but really, the great folk songs that Kelly and Sarah have written, and the skilled and passionate performances we captured, are the true centerpiece here. I am so proud of what they accomplished and I hope that you will give this a listen.

In other news, it occurs to me that it has been way too long since I shared any photos of William here. So, here are a couple from the day he became 7 months old (I refused to say "7 month birthday" because that's just silly"):





He's so cute that it's pretty gross. And that is why I don't post here enough - if you had a baby that cute in your house you would never get anything done either, probably.
