Fear not, LJ: my absence from your hallowed halls has absolutely nothing to do with my recent joining of Facebook. (Go be my band's fan over there, by the way.) Rather, it has everything to do with me getting really, disgustingly sick over the weekend and basically being unable to function for the past two days. And I keep forgetting I can actually take sick days now (this is the first job I've ever had that allowed me to take them without losing pay...) so I got up at 5:45 both days and took the bus into work and then realized I should not have gone there in the first place after more than half the day was already over and it was too late. Sigh. It sucks because I really wanted to be productive this week, but all I feel up to doing is lying on the couch watching TV and dozing. (It was honestly a struggle to get downstairs to post this.) I really hope I feel better tomorrow because there are things I seriously need to get done, and this weekend is going to be crazy. Oh well, better now than during Icon...
