SNOWPOCALYPSE!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank whatever gods might be watching over me that I am on my spring break this week and NOT trying to get to work or other obligations. It snowed horrendously here all last weekend, cleared up just long enough for me to get to and from Hunter without incident on Tuesday, and then proceeded to start snowing

They shut down the U at 2:30 this afternoon. I couldn't believe it! The never cancel classes for the weather here but they did today, and I got to skip the three and a half hours I was supposed to spend in the tutor lab/writing center so I could come home and angst for six hours about how I don't want to write the draft of my paper that I need to send out to my women's studies class sometime tonight.

So I'm in a bad mood about this paper but I'm also kind of full of glee because a person who was mean to me once just got fandom wanked and now everyone is making fun of her. :D

Aratlithiel, Abbynormal, a couple other names. She's not on LJ anymore but she was very powerful for a long time and her Frodo/Merry epic is still the one every one cites as the best fic in the pairing. But I have issues with her comma usage and also she made me cry last year and I never got over it, and also was pretty horrible to a couple of my friends, so it's really gratifying to see so many people laughing at how self-important she is. :) (Yes, I'm a total hypocrite.)

Also I sent out my paper yay!
