Haul so far includes KotOR II (thanks eustacio, but I've gotta beat Halo 2 first!*), Firefly on DVD, lots of new books, wine glasses, a blender, new red Chucks, and a month's rent. One more family celebration left to go tomorrow, and then I think I'll be glad to be done with the holidays for awhile. But of course, giving presents, getting to spend time with dayzdark and other cool folks, and feeling loved and validated is thoroughly more satisfying than just the material goods haul. Although that's nice too, of course. (c:
Now I'm going to go curl up with my heating pad and finish reading my book, because my body is all crampy and full of suck.
* - Speaking of which, does anybody have any suggestions for how to get out of this Room From Hell on Halo 2? It's a room toward the end of the first level where you're really fighting Brutes a lot, and I've nicknamed it "the Noah's Ark board" because you're going uphill and this door opens up and fricking two Hunters and like 2 million of EVERY OTHER critter comes pouring out the door. I keep trying to just run past them but I lose my shields right away and I die as soon as I get to the top of the hill. I'm totally stuck. Assistance plz.
