Busy, busy...
It's 4am, I'm in the middle of doing packing for Metro, and I felt a post should be made.
Work is awesome now that I can serve, and have earned like... $200 or so in 4 days. After paying some bills AND having enough to keep functioning, life is ok. I don't say great if only because of some roommate issues at the moment, but that's for another time: This is a positive post.
Ever since O'Roy introduced me to Metro 2 years ago, I have always looked forward to it in an almost fanboyish way, as the people I've met and the experiences had are things I can treasure for a long time to come. This year is no different, but I'm looking forward to working this con more than anything.
Also, (don't tell MetroRoy about this Pez, Derrick, or anyone else :P ) I want to surprise the cast and crew of Metro with my own cake present this year. For going into a very successful looking 5th year, and myself wanting to give my appreciation for all the hard work put into it, I felt I needed to do something.
For now, bed calls. I'll be bringing my laptop, but most likely you'll see a HOOG post afterwards on Monday.
