[Most tenants can probably recognize when a jigoberry's audio has been triggered accidentally -- it's the unpleasant clatter of the device crashing to the floor. There's silence for a few minutes until video follows. Most of the screen is obscurred by something black and close to the screen.
There's a moment to assume the worst before the thing jumps backwards and it becomes clear exactly what it is and exactly what has happened. A young black cat has made Matt's jigoberry its plaything, and now struts and arches its back at it with a bravado that many humans around the apartments would envy. The cat swats at the screen again, sending it spinning before going for the 'kill' with young claws and teeth.
You've all been officially pounced.
