At least they were.

Perhaps an investigation is in order. They could be in trouble. The ghosts seem benign today, but who knows what's really happening in there.

Could be that this is just what happens when people get sent back home. From what I've gathered, we all just suddenly appeared. No reason to think that we won't just disappear.

That's the best case scenario.

As much as I do not enjoy being the pessimist, we could all be dead. The land of the dead, at least in my culture, is not entirely unlike this.

Honestly, it's what I imagined purgatory to be like when I was a child.
