Advanced Media Network reports that a recent, unscientific
poll of users of Cnet's popular
GameFAQS website indicates that over 60% of parents have little or no idea of what video games their children are playing. The results were voted on by more than 58,000 presumably youthful gamers.
Sadly, even the best of ratings systems won't help if parents aren't paying attention.
On the plus side, 27% of respondents said their folks were either very aware or played along with them. Played along? Now that's parenting!
