"8. "Material" means any book, magazine, newspaper, pamphlet, poster, print, picture, figure, image, description, motion picture film, record, recording tape, CD-ROM disk, Magnetic Disk Memory, Magnetic Tape Memory, video tape, computer software or video game;"

Glad my games come on DVDs.

Ok, for real now: I have less problem with wanting to keep sexual content out of the hands of minors, than the vague sounds "Inappropriate Violence" bit. Once again, if the same standards were applied to movies there'd be a lot more Blockbusters staff being arrested :p

Well, the last two terms could cover a lot... but inventive lawyers could get around it.

Taking GTA: San Andreas (which is on DVD-ROM), the PS2 and X-Box versions should be able to easily argue that they're CONSOLE software, not computer software... and then there's no legal definition for the term video game to my knowledge. What if they borrow Dennis' approach and term themselves "Interactive Adult Entertainment Software" or something?

An inventive lawyer could also argue that with the new HD-DVD, Blu-ray DVD, and Nintendo's optical disks for the Revoultion (and the mini-disks for the GameCube) aren't covered eiher.

Kinda covers almost the entire next gen of games.

Not to mention UMD and any cartridge, being solid-state and not magnetic.

Too bad all of those still fall under "computer software or video game," and are therefore covered.

Well, yes, but in the context of the thread, blah blah blah joke. :)
