People from Calvin are always saying crazy stuff like this. I live and work in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and the whole school is full of whack jobs. Example, if a student is found drinking for dancing outside of campus, he can be expelled.

Last year, Geroge Dub-ya spoke at Calvin, and there were a few hundred protesters. One of the higher ups at Calvin, on the nightly news, said that people shouldn't be allowed to publicly protest in America. Although I'm sure it would be OK for him to protest a new Harry Potter book, because Jesus told him to.

As far as the game goes, I hope it's good. I think an RTS featuring avenging angels and demonic demons would be cool. However, I'm sure it will be more like Sunday Funday than Starcraft.

*nods* I have to agree. I'm from the area and it's kind of weird.
As a note though, just last year, they repealed the rule about dancing. As of 2005, Christian people can dance without inviting Satan into their lives.

The game sounds kind of fun, though :)

How would multiplayer work? You certainly can't have good guys vs. good guys. But playing as Satan is EVIL! So I guess it'd only be co-op? ;)

Nope, players will be able to control the forces of the Anti-Christ in multiplayer.

I had a friend that went to Cornerstone (I think that was the anti-dancing school) -- she got kicked out for dying her hair.

You GR people are weird. *grin*

Hi! I just wanted to respond to your comment and let you know that not everyone at Calvin is a "whack job."

Not everyone here is right-wing. I personally am an independent that leans slightly liberal.

I love the Harry Potter books. I also love Quentin Tarantino and Kevin Smith movies.

I personally agree with you about the drinking rules, though. You can't drink on campus, even if you're 21.

We are allowed to dance, though, something that I do quite often.

Nice to meet someone else from Grand Rapids! :)
