A couple of weeks back, GamePolitics was the venue for some lively debate over the recent Future Play Conference held at Michigan State University. We were particularly interested in the panel discussion "Game Content, Ratings, Censorship and the First Amendment," which featured an all-star lineup including:
- Dr. Henry Jenkins of the M.I.T. Comparative Media Studies Lab
- Dr. Clay Calvert, Professor of Communications and Law, Penn State
- Dr. Kevin Saunders, Professor of Law, Michigan State
- Dr. Craig Anderson, Professor of Psychology, Iowa State
- Jason Della Rocca, Executive Director of the IGDA
- John Lazet, Chief of Staff to MI Sen. Cropsey (co-author of the state's new game content law)
