Despite her ridiculous interrogation of him, Machika really likes Kazuki! He's easygoing and fun to talk to, and is an active person like her. He's still in that "friend of a friend" category because she doesn't talk to him that much, but she would definitely like to get to know him better, especially now that he's dating Alice. Also her friends who are friends with Kazuki seem to like him, etc. She's just overprotective of Alice because Alice pings all of Machika's protective instincts somehow and they are bffs. And even after she and Kazuki were arguing(?) with each other he was just like, here, have a cookie. Which was kind of awesome. You are a cool person, Kazuki.
Oh, right. And she wanted to get to know him better before the Evil Dr. Pochi decided to try and bite her hand off, but then she got wary of crossing into conflicting territory. She knows Alice and Taiga know Yuki and like him, and she doesn't want to tear friends apart just because she can't stand him. Aaaand she kind of figured Kazuki wouldn't like her because of that fight with Yuki. But he seems indifferent...?! WELL OKAY, THAT WORKS TOO.
...Is Yuki hating Machika really something that would deter Kazuki from talking to her/being friends with her/idk/etc?
