Ships in a (Fort)night: Daily Prompts

Love in ASOIAF never seems to last, but for the next two weeks at gameofships, you'll have a chance to give your favorite pairings all the love they deserve (or, in some cases, don't deserve) with our first round of daily prompts.
The rules are simple:
1. On Monday, June 25, we'll post the first prompt--an image, a quote, or a few lines of poetry--that we hope will set your ships a-sail. Interpret prompts as literally or as loosely as you like.
2. Respond in a comment to the prompt post with a work of fanart or fic. As in the porn battle, if your fic is too long to fit in one comment, post an excerpt and then link to the full fic (on your personal LJ, AO3, ff.net, wherever you prefer to post). Specific posting guidelines to come. Rinse and repeat for fourteen days.
3. You may respond to a prompt at any point during the two weeks of daily prompts, not just on the day it's posted (though be sure to post on the correct prompt thread). So if you're stuck in the doldrums of real life, you can chart your course and set sail when a fairer wind blows.
4. Multiple prompts may be used in a single fanwork, but please only link in one prompt thread.
5. All ratings accepted, as per the community guidelines, but please warn for common triggers. All genres welcome, too, except for genfic--we're not called gameofships for nothing. ;)
