Game Three

I didn't think it'd happen this quickly, but I've been given permission to visit the living world, and a temporary body to go with it. The only condition is that, exactly -- visits. And so ... Cheza, I promised I'd come see you if I could, I think. Mion, I hope you're back in your own body, because I promised you a game. I owe Kaiba a duel and ( Read more... )

Ten and seventeen are wrong, and 23 is something that is up to interpretation, mostly, though from mine you are wrong.

The rest are correct. You're very talented at this.

Hmm... for 17, an atlas. And I wasn't exactly expecting the answer for ten to be correct, but I couldn't resist the pun.

I have a penchant for riddles.

I see. I wondered if you'd done it on purpose. Wrong again -- do you wish to know the answer to 17?

As a past-time?

If you'd be so kind?

It provides me with something to occupy my time, and I do enjoy them, so yes. As a pastime.

A stamp.

I find puzzles and games in general a good hobby. It's nice to see someone else who enjoys them.

Ah. I should have guessed.

I would assume the same could be said of any hobby, but you are correct. Finding someone who enjoys the same things is always enjoyable.

Do you have any riddles you favor, then?

A few, although 'favor' may not necessarily by the proper word. To name a few, the following:

-Whoever makes it, wants it not. Whoever takes it, knows it not. And whoever knows it, wants it not.
-You do not want to have it. But when you do have it, you do not want to lose it.
-The sun bakes them, the hand breaks them, the foot treads on them, and the mouth tastes them. What are they?
-I am large as a castle, yet lighter than air. 100 men and their horses cannot move me. What am I?
-At night they come without being stolen and by day they are lost without being stolen.

A... lawsuit?
Grapes.
The castle's shadow.
The stars.

Correct on all accounts.

That's good -- I wasn't certain of the first two. I'm ... unfamiliar with this time, still.

What time are you more accustomed to, if I may ask?

Ancient Egypt, three thousand years ago, to be exact.

You've been through quite a shift then. No wonder you're having trouble adapting.

Not a complete shift -- I've inhabited this world for a year or two. Some concepts I am still unfamiliar with, but I'm getting there.
