Two swallows

I'm taking a break from putting the finishing touches on Gamehawk (well, okay, how about slapping it together to ship?) and the dog barks to announce the arrival of the mail. While I'm out there, I notice the neighbor (technically, her father/landlord) and his assistant are out working on the garage. This is the house opposite me, so it's rather easy for me to see that, hmm, one side of the garage is sitting about a foot higher than the other. Oooookay. ("Shed" is a more appropriate term; a pair of swing-open barn doors and all, probably pre-war). They've re-roofed it (not just re-shingled, either) in the last few weeks, and I guess now they're doing foundation work or something.

So, before I make it back to the computer, I hear a panicked "Oh, SHIT!" (and I don't have the windows open, so this was quite a yell) and look out to see the assistant running like heck from the garage. Which isn't falling over, or exploding, or... anything.

He keeps running... around the house, and slows down when he gets to the other side. I finally see him somewhat sheepishly point over to the side of the house, and, since he sees me looking with some concern out the front door by this point, reluctantly explains loud enough for me to hear: "Wasp!"

I swatted a mosquito on my arm a little while ago (indoors, grr). So it's officially spring.
