31 Weeks
Hello there...I'm not dead! I just logged on and saw that my last journal entry was 31 weeks ago. That's pretty bad for me. I guess things just got real busy and crazy and I was at a point where I didn't feel like sharing everything. So here's an update on me...
I finished Spring semester of school and it went fairly well. It was definitely hard as I was a full time student...3 classes and 3 labs...and I was working full time as well. Shouldn't complain too much though. Now that I've officially completed the required classes for entrance into Med school, I'm debating whether to take some more classes to try to up my GPA a little or not. I can't get in to school til Fall of 2008 so I have some time. Unfortunately, I haven't really started studying yet for the MCAT as I've been real busy with some other stuff...though I hope to get going on it. :)
As for other stuff, I moved out of my old apartment. I'm glad to be out of that place as there were a lot of memories there...both good and bad. I absolutely love my new place, though there was drama with aquiring it. I was supposed to be getting a roommate, and she backed out on me 1 week before we were going to move in. I ended up getting lucky and managed to get a 1 bedroom apt in the same complex. I do like living by myself but I get a little bored.
Work is work and I don't really want to discuss it. I'm in the process of searching for new jobs though...mainly because the owner has promised me a raise for 3 months and I still haven't gotten it. Therefore, I feel as though I don't need to stick around there anymore.
As for life in general, I have no complaints. I've been spending a lot of time down at the pool. This is the great thing about living in the South and working at night. My summer day times are free and the weather is almost always gorgeous. I've gotten quite tan for a redhead. Football season is 1 month away! (YIPPEEEE!!!!!!!!) and I can't wait. I even have season tickets this year, which makes me even more happy. Without looking back in my journal, I don't know if I ever mentioned my friend Andy. The last time I would've written in here, he was just a friend. Now, Andy is my boyfriend and I couldn't be happier about that. We get along great, NEVER fight, and it's just plain good. I'm super happy these days.
So there's my catch up entry. I hope to write more frequently, like I used to. :)
