Huge Announcement
(it's about time)....................

okay okay, here goes....
Nicole is going back to school! Yippeeeee....
So you might not be all that excited, but I am. I absolutely can't wait. Pretty much since graduation I've talked about how much I've missed school itself. Then while sitting around at my last job, I decided that an 8-5 desk job really wasn't my thing. I knew at that point that I really wanted to go back to school. The only problem was my 8-5 job that I needed to be at every hour M-F...and therefore would have a hard time taking the classes I want to take, as they're not offered in the evening. Then, the best thing in the world happened to me. I parted ways with my job. It really was a blessing in disguise.
Then I got my act together and applied for school. I was admitted into Summer I two days before classes started and as that wasn't enough time to make tuition money, I decided not to start at that time. I pushed it back to Fall. So, I had to submit another application and be approved as in SC resident (for tuition purposes) and it all worked out!
I didn't want to say anything too soon because I didn't want to jinx myself. School starts August 24th and I really couldn't be more excited. I am currently signed up for 2 classes...Organic Chemistry(my nemesis) and Physics I. Not the most fun classes, but I can't wait!!!!
So, now that I've shared that news, I can now also say I work at El Chico as a server/bartender. I was only a server until the other day when we didn't have a bartender and I was the only one there over 21...so I kinda got put behind the bar. Ever since then, I've worked the bar a few more shifts and actually work the bar most of this upcoming week. It's fun. Don't get me wrong, El Chico isn't my favorite place to work by any means...and one of my managers is a huge dick and I hate working with him...but the money is decent and once I do start school it will provide a flexible schedule while going to class. Oh and did I mention that I can't wait for school to start. ;)
Anyhow, that's my announcement. I know it was worth the wait for me (though most of you probably aren't as excited as I am, lol!)
