Michael Kohutich and Sarah Bogdan, as of August 24th, are officially Disney employees! As such, I will also be receiving a $1000 bonus for referring them! A new drumset is on the way.
I have started giving drum lessons. As always, I get nervous that I'm not qualified to give drum lessons. I suppose I have the education and the chops...it just feels weird teaching people. I would never make it as a teacher. In a matter of five minutes I would have handed control of the classroom over the first person with glasses and a smart looking haircut, who said anything.
My music was featured in an avant garde short film which was just submitted to the Sundance Festival. We're all pretty sure it doesn't have a chance of getting accepted, but I gave it a lucky kiss before we mailed it, so who knows. I don't have a copy of the film, but the song is called Deconstructed Entropy, and is in the New Music section of my website. After listening to the song, guess what the video was about. Wrong. The answer is things melting. Maybe next time.
We've started buying some cheap board games and hosting more game nights at our house with neighbors and people from work. I like games. We don't have enough of them.
I still haven't found anyone to play Smash Bros with up here. Well...save for one. One night one of Marcus's friends played me for an hour, and every match was amazing. I even lost one of them. If I hadn't been drinking I would have asked for his number, so we could have a man-date. It is one of my single greatest regrets since moving out here.
