Wall Verse Chapter 7, Jerk-Face

Peter had been angrier in his life, but at the moment he couldn’t recall. He wanted nothing more than to go back and slug Sylar right in his jerk-faced kisser. That's okay, because I swear I copied off of yours!

(if that bothers you, tell me and I'll immediately seek another word. It's just that seemed like exactly the sort of thing Peter would think in exasperation.)

Oh. I didn't realize that! This whole different time zones thing is weird-I thought I'd posted mine after yours by virtue of just the time stamp on your entry...

Oh, no, not at all! :D And I totally agree on that; while Sylar would probably go to swear words or eloquently phrased insults, I believe Peter would totally devolve into grade-school insults. Which somehow makes the two of them even cuter. *hugs my bears*

I think if they got any cuter, the universe would implode. :P

And now jerk-face will be my favorite insult, I shall begin using it all the time because of you two. :)

Okay, now that I know what's going on I can say that I love Peter being pouty. Serves him right for spoiling the mood. Ha!

And I too like the "jerk face". I don't suppose I could use it could I? Pleeeeaaase??

Use away! I stole it from asmodesgold anyway. :D

Out of curiosity though, what did Peter do to spoil the mood?

I thought that's what u intended when he smirked "something you wanted to say" turning Sylar's shame into anger.

It wasn't his intention to spoil the mood, but yeah, I guess that's what happened. Me and emotions have a rocky relationship. I knew what made sense, what Sylar's reaction would be, how Peter felt and what he'd do ... but Peter wanted Sylar to stutter out some admission of his attraction and give Peter a big ol' ego stroke. Sylar did not want to do that, because getting angry was a lot more familiar and comfortable for him.
