I like this, even without the background. (I haven’t read your other stuff - but now I'd like to - and I can see what you mean when you write that it helps but I believe that I get it.) I tend not to read nc-17 rated het/slash fic that often (not that I’m very squicked by it and of course, I can miss out on some good stories, but you know, it’s a question of priorities…) but I’m curious about how you’ll make Maury pursue Angela later… In the meantime I think Patty is interesting and I like that you make me not dislike Maury with this. I mean, he has always been “the nightmare man” in my eyes but here he seems to want to be seen in a different light which I can approve of. :) So I'm off to next chapter some time soon...
