Oh, the reappearance of Audrey! So exciting! Really wish Heroes could have done more with her.
Yes Claire, Audrey is shrugging a way deliberately designed to annoy you. She's acting, yes, but that's kind of ridiculous. God, I'm a spoiled middle-class brat and even I don't think that way.
Claire, you have a lot of 'splaining to do. And I really want to know what her reaction is to the carnival basically accepting Sylar. That's probably going to throw a bit of a wrench in her "They're all just good people," argument.
I like Lydia, so by extention I'm curious about Amanda. I'll admit I never liked Amanda's character-slash-portrayal in the mini-series but you have this gift of making even the most annoying and cliched characters serve a purpose and make me see their actions in a new light. And I like that you gave her her own story, too. That helps round her out and give her depth

Yeah, Amanda was self-absorbed and immature in the series, but on the other hand, if you look at the things going on in her life, it was no wonder she was constantly off-kilter. When she discovered her powers, she almost burned her cat to death and was accused of having done it on purpose, then she burned her aunt's house down and was accused of doing that deliberately, too. She ran away from home and ended up at the carnival after some adventures, where she sort of fit in, sort of didn't. Either way, she found herself being used as a pawn against her mother (whom she blamed for abandoning her and never filling her in on specials, thus causing a lot of Amanda's troubles) by Samuel (who had taken her in and welcomed her to the carnival and was happy about her powers). It was a situation ripe with mind-fuckery
