Yay comments! Yay time! So glad. I'd love to read anything you find yourself inspired to write.

In a lot of my writing if you see a scene starting to go one direction (like Sylar topping) and then switching gears to something else (like Sylar making Peter do it), it's because I intended to write the first, but the characters weren't on board with it and wanted the second. So ... okay, I write the second.

I have a feeling Peter is going to be a top in MBU, even if he's typically been a bottom in the past. Unlike Shattered Salvation, there's no Nathan-relationship (no sexual one at least) that put Peter into the pattern of bottoming to him. And I suspect a degree of dominance over Sylar in MBU will be required, even if it's just the symbolic nature of who's doing the penetrating.

I'm not so sure that Sylar changed in The Wall in canon. Although he'd changed a lot before it, he was still lying to Claire, molesting her, threatening Matt's wife and family, etc. There were other ways he could have done things, but he was still taking the villain's route. We didn't see anything in The Wall that showed he'd learned his lesson or come to understand that deception and threat of force was not an appropriate way to ask for help or form positive emotional bonds with people. So I liked writing this where Sylar *did* change.

The whole fic started as a scene where Peter was giving Sylar a supportive hug and me fantasizing about the feelings Sylar would have about that.
