Now to figure out what to do today ...
- There's a local gal who needs an abortion whom I'm giving money to. That will be an hour's trip into town and back. Interesting fact - the going rate for an abortion in Oklahoma is $625. She was on birth control and got pregnant anyway.
- I'd like to get a few more strawberry plants. I'll detour by the farm and ranch store on my way back.
- I'll plant whatever I get, then mulch the bed I've spent the morning weeding.
- I need to mow down the back corner. I think I'll do that immediately, then do the drive into town.
- This afternoon - it will be hot. I might as well stay inside and finally watch Bates Motel. If I'm allergic to watching, I've got a book I'm almost done with and a story I need to revise the ending of. Oh, and a short fic I need to post.
- I'll make some bread and cinnamon rolls (I have the kids).
- When it cools down, the kids and I will go to my parent's garden and pick onions until we're done or it's dark. My dad told me I could get the squash today, too, for myself.
- Tonight ... read, write, put the kids to bed. Oh ... guess I'd need to feed them dinner before that. Which means I need to figure out what we're eating. Fresh bread along with fried squash and onions sound great to me, but the kids would rather starve. Hm, maybe I'll just make them peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
Okay, that takes care of today. Tomorrow ...
- Rewatch Heroes.
- Play D&D.
- Do bills.
- Do laundry.
- Finish the book, write a review of it.
- Get my son to mow the lawn.
- Water stuff, since it's been hot all week and hasn't rained.
So ... that's my weekend. Time to get to mowing!
