Movie review: Oz, The Great and Powerful (no spoilers)
This movie sucked. Start to finish. Cliche, unoriginal, annoying, boring, irritating, sexist, plot-hole-ridden, woodenly acted, pointless special effects, pointless everything, waste of time, badly written, stilted dialogue, stupid message/premise, uninspiring and muddled conflict ...
I hated it.
I hated it so much that an hour into it, I was gnashing my teeth thinking that there had to be something more appealing playing in one of the other theaters. I would have walked out had I not been with someone. I would have left but that I had a gift for him in my car that I hadn't given him yet. I kept hoping it was one of those short movies that would end soon, but you could see everything coming a mile away in this movie and it was clear they were going to have the standard climax (so clear that it was painfully anticlimactic). I hated the movie so much that I TRIED to take a nap during it. I hated it so much that I fantasized about warning other people away from it.
Don't go see it. It's crap.
