Oh, goodness! I *love* this song! Oh gosh!

I'll just flail around....I love this so freaking much! I can strangely picture Peter singing this, which I like (if I thought he sounded anything like the singers).

I'm kind of speechless.

I'm, uh, too young to know what kind of music Simon and Garfunkel made, though I recognize and love this song (I didn't know it was theirs, obviously). Like...I'll have to look into them now. I thought they did...another genre or something, I wasn't really looking forward to it but the song started up and...

(That second vid *was* exactly what I thought! LOL! "Toasters getting horny!" "I'll sleep around...with Cylons")

This is awesome! Gonna save it to my YT faves.

Glad you liked it! Simon and Garfunkel play my FAVORITE type of music, which has nothing whatsoever to do with the instruments. Their songs tell stories and I love that. I love ballad-type songs where the lyrics have meaning.

You might listen to "I am a rock" by Simon and Garfunkel, too, and imagine it coming from Sylar in the Wall. It's perfect!

They have some lovely stuff.

Wow that was really cool. I took your advice and listened to the song first. Very cool poem. I like the third stanza the best for some reason, maybe cause its the dark and depressing part? Either way, this is such a great idea. I love it when you bust out with something different like this. Oh and the last line makes me misty eyed.

Yay! Glad you liked it. And I'm amazed that YOU haven't heard that song before! I know it's a little before our times, but not by a whole lot.

Simon & Garfunkel are the bomb!
