Creepy Sam intro.

One of Peter's scenes was inverted.

"Claire Bennet needs some time to think about my offer" Becuase threatening her dad and burying her alive to get out...or not, is a sure fire way to make her "see the [cult] light"

Hmm. Now Claire can untie a knot herself. When there's no serf to do it for her.

Wow, Lauren looks rough.

Fuck. Peter's pants.

Oh, and I realized what "love fest" might also mean: Eli heard them talking, "Feels like we were were in there for years", etc.

Blah...blah...blah....

Uh, maybe YOU'VE been told you were second-class, Sam, but everyone else seems normal (with abilities) dressed up in your carnival's fetish wear.

Now there's only a couple handfuls of carnies? To run a carnival? Ugh.

They really ran out of budget for the effects.

I love "It's just dislocated" "Awesome" like...thanks, Peter? They do a good job miming that injury, though, pained noises and medic reactions.

Carnival= officially rapey. The Sullivan Carnival - where every man except Hiro and Edgar is a rapey, creepy, violent guy.

Charlie's story was...really sad.

Aww! The boys in stereo. Peter's look back...huh.

And don't forget that Edgar is creepy and violent. Just not rapey.

Yeah! Think about how differently Samuel would have played everything if he didn't automatically know everyone's ability? Because here, he's obviously playing for the long haul, expecting that Claire will live forever. Yet how does he know that? We've seen TWO canon characters who could heal wounds. Now admittedly they both did it to other people, but how does Samuel know Claire doesn't have the same power, and thus has a normal lifespan?

Now there's only a couple handfuls of carnies? To run a carnival? Ugh.

The fluctuating number of carnies bothers me, too.

Yeah, this message of second-class-ness conflicts with the 'we're special'/'we're better than them' message he's been preaching in the past. Now, instead of being above all the petty crap of most of humanity, the tune has changed without warning.

Thank you for not including Edgar in the rapey category.

Sam, however is at his creep zenith in this ep.

LOL to running out of budget. So true!

"Carnival= officially rapey."

Yep pretty much. I'm going to contribute a link to some amusing fanart for that discussion:
