Here's the rewatch comment thread for Thanksgiving, an episode that ranks in my top five. I'm so excited!

Starting!

Samuel looks so creepy while watching the film. He looks creepy all the time though. Not much to say about the Samuel and Hiro scene that hasn't been said already.

I'm glad they remember to mention Lyle while discussing the Bennett family Thanksgiving dinner. The first time I saw this episode I didn't catch that line and then was confused as to where he was.

Why would Sandra and her boyfriend even have dinner with Noah without Claire there? That's just so much awkward.

Noah stop taking flirting tips from Twilight! Stalking is unattractive.

I love this scene with the Petrelli brothers. It's obvious that Nathan!Sylar is having nightmares and it makes you wonder how much he's remembering. Him clutching the bottle in his sleep makes me think more of Nathan than Sylar. Peter staring at him and looking like he's probably been there all night. I can't help but to wonder if there's a part of him that is nervous about sleeping with Nathan!Sylar in the apartment with him. There's so much going on in that moment without anyone even saying anything.

Angela barely pauses as she tells Peter her story for the body. I'm interested in how Angela already knew about Matt's suicide attempt. She's clearly been keeping tabs on him.

I like that Peter clearly reacts when Nathan!Sylar grabs Angela's arm. He probably never would have before knowing what he knows now.

It amuses me how Noah keeps using "It's Lauren" as an excuse when we never heard of her before season 4.

I love Claire's expression when Doug goes on about Ms. Lovegood.

I like the scene where Lydia and Edgar realize that they didn't know the real reason that Samuel wanted Hiro. Up to this point I'd assumed Lydia has known more about what was going on.

Samuel really does look extra-creepy while watching the film. I think it's the expression and the darkness. I like the touch that the best sheet he can find for the film is checkered.

Good point! That would be really weird. Sort of like how off-putting I find it for my ex to invite me along to go to movies with him and the kids. I'm left thinking, 'Dude, what part of 'I want a divorce' did you not understand?'

So true, all of this! I'll bet he's nervous! Partly out of fear/concern that Sylar might off him, but I think the main fear would be that Sythan would leave while Peter was asleep and Peter might lose Nathan because he took a nap.

This is a super-confusing plot-hole, too. Her ability is the only shown way for Samuel to be getting all this freaking free backstory on characters and events. It's like someone bought him the DVD set of seasons 1-3, frankly. And if he knows all that due to her, then why wouldn't she know vast amounts about Samuel? You can't convince me that given all the stresses that have been going on, that she hasn't had completely legitimate reasons for her character to want to read him. They might (or might not) have had sex, but he's touched her on screen - that's established. If she got all that from Hiro just putting his hand on her back, then surely she could have gotten plenty from Samuel at some point. I'd think his issue with Joseph would be fairly close to the surface of his conscience most days.
