"That Elizabeth woman is a phone-message black hole" --LOL! Ever think that Nathan's not Nathan? And regardless, maybe Nathan, as Elizabeth's boss, told her not to pass those messages along?
Now for the literal "let's copy the Petrelli family's dymanic" I do find Peter's more compelling for a lot of reasons. More depth maybe? I like Peter more than Emma anyway. Heh.
"I thought you said it was important?" Yeah, Ma, it was. Should have caught it the first time around. Or you should have asked years ago. Don't guilt me with that.
I loved this speed dating bit with Claire. Funny, to the point, a great character...twist to throw her, needing to learn the lying thing for herself, not from Noah. You'd think she'd clue in that it's a necessary evil, a necessary thing - her family does it, the Company does it...now she does it.
I don't understand why I need to see minutes upon minutes of footage of Emma discovering only the one, lamest facet of her ability. Then the big finale comes around and we get the "speed dating" version of: oh, her ability is like a siren's lure, not just seeing pretty colors from sound - who'd have thought? I certainly didn't get that from all the other episodes. Couldn't play around with the other aspects, apparently.
I laughed at this Peter (trying to) run in the alleyway part! The music, the timing, Peter's reaction, so cute! It's like the quintesential superhero's false start. Then the frustrated propert y destruction and Peter being Peter and not cutting himself enough time to get to work if he lost the ability. Four seasons later, he still gets the "wtheck?" face for a new ability! Oh, Peter...
I note to self Peter's propensity for hitting things when events don't go his way. It's not an 'I'm trying to intimidate you by damaging this' form of violence, but just a 'I'm frustrated so I'm going to kick something' form. Similar to amnesiac!Peter punching the table when he's in the virus!future with Angela.
