Huh... interesting take on things! I have often wondered if it was possible to actually get hurt there for any length of time since it was entirely mental but I think you can make a case for either direction :)

I have a feeling Sylar will regret himself here :/ that's too bad! Are you going to write what happens next? I know you usually don't in this series but I'm all curious now <3

Thanks! I thought forward, and although I could probably tweak it and *force* drama, there wasn't going to be anything interesting happen. If Peter didn't realize the kiss was real, then he wouldn't know and Sylar wouldn't tell him. If Peter did realize the kiss was real, then he'd know that Sylar hadn't done anything else to him, and had been pretty consistently helpful. Plus, as I think was clear, Peter thinks Sylar is hot. So Peter would tend to blow it off as long as it didn't repeat itself. Like I said - no drama. This seemed a better point to end the story, with the reader wondering what would happen.

Funny that Sylar will catch trouble for it...

...but Peter started it!

Glad you finally wrote this out. (I'll probably come back to comment more later)

Oh, like I saw in the other comment reply here, Peter's not going to do anything about it. I thought of this as an exchange:

Peter wakes up, moans around a little. Sylar, who has been waiting patiently at his bedside, waits to see what Peter does. Peter asks for ibuprofen/tylenol/etc. Sylar asks, "Don't you want more morphine?"

Peter, giving Sylar an odd look, "No, thanks. I ... think it gave me some really vivid dreams."

"Dreams?"

"Yeah."

"Or nightmares?" Sylar asks, by now pretty sure from Peter's face that Peter remembers and knows that wasn't a 'dream'.

"Just dreams," Peter says mildly. "They weren't that bad. So how long was I out of it?"

Peter changes the subject, Sylar lets him, and things go on without either of them mentioning it again (at least until they start flirting at some point)

Poor drugged bb Peter. At least Sylar has some sort of boundaries, eh?

What's "bb" stand for?

And yes, Peter is very lucky that Sylar (in this fic) has some boundaries!

"bb" is just an internet slang way of saying "baby", it's a term of endearment.

I forget some people who don't go on tumblr a lot don't know that, haha.

Oh! That was hot! I am completely ignoring the unethical parts of it. And I read the comment above about what happens next. yay to Peter calling it a dream not a nightmare. Woot!

Yeah, I just ... can't see Peter beating Sylar up over this, even verbally/emotionally. Yes, it was wrong of Sylar to do that, but on the grand scheme of things, it's just not very wrong. Peter's boundaries for this sort of thing are in a different place than my own. In this, I write Peter as rather male and very sexually experienced/empowered. Getting kissed against his will is annoying, but not something worth freaking out about. Especially under the circumstances - Peter was totally on board about the painkillers, he figures he acted interested, Sylar helped him before and after, and Sylar didn't take it any further than he did. Peter would be all over an EMT who did anything remotely like that, but Sylar's a partly-reformed serial killer, not a professional EMT. A stolen kiss? Kind of sweet, actually. Creepy, but sweet. Just like Sylar!

Yeah, I'm not sure what someone acts like when they're really loaded on opiates, so I just turned all the inhibition dials down low and wrote what happened! Glad you liked it!
