Interesting.
I have always stayed away from hornet nests, but that is a question that makes you stop and think.

Thanks! I don't know what would happen either, to be honest.

Hey! Look at you! Writing the existential!

I loved this! I'm not big on either of these characters, but...this made me laugh and smile.

Bees react to smell and...color? Pheromones anyway. Like sharks and dogs smelling fear through pheromones. Its how bees find flowers, I'm pretty darn sure. Sylar would know!

That's...an interesting point to make, too, "How do they know it was you?"

And the distinction of "I always ran away" AND "I always got stung." Makes me wonder about Ted's backstory for the first time ever.

Yay me! You know, I went to bed normal-like Sunday after the rewatch, and got back up to write that drabble. Which I did. And then went to post it. Ha.

Anyway, I think I've read that bees/wasps/flies/etc. are very sensitive to the heat and carbon dioxide emissions of mammals, so I *suspect* that wasps would find you anyway, even if you just stood there. But like Ted, I don't know for sure.

Also, I initially tried to put these lines to Peter and Sylar and both of them laughed me out of ... um, they wouldn't do it. So I had to dig deeper for other characters it fit better.

Wow, that was deep. So Noah/the Company is the hornet's nest, right?

I loved this. Haven't you written something with them, before? Either way, I like what you do with them and would like to see more if you feel inclined.

It's the drabble I got up to write Sunday night. It's one of those where I can sort of feel there's a deeper meaning in there trying to get out, but it's buried in my subconscious and not using words. It doesn't hurt that it's something I've wondered about from time to time, but like Ted never stuck around to find out.

I don't think I've written anything with Matt and Ted before. I probably should write more. They're a fun pair. Neither are rocket scientists, but they both have complex emotions and simple goals that really won't satisfy them. That is, they've decided on something they want for themselves, but getting it isn't going to give them the peace they think it will.

I don't slash them, either.
