To-Do!
Yeah, I know. It's the middle of the week and here I am To-do-ing and Ta-da-ing. What's that all about? Well, it's about the fact that I've been unemployed now for 2 1/2 weeks and it looks very much like that condition will end soon. Very soon. Like I'll be at work April 9 at the latest. Yeah, I think I'll start telling prospective employers April 9, cuz I want the time off to do things. This is incredible, by the way. The first time I was laid off, it was seven months before I had work. The second time, it was *eleven* months. And so when I was let go this time and that same day I saw a depressing news story about how the average time to get a new job was 40 weeks ... well. I wasn't all that depressed, really, because I knew I'd gotten through worse and this time I didn't have my ex to deal with. Instead, I started planning out what I'd do for the next 6-12 months of unemployment.
But now, yay, I have three different firm leads, all for jobs with a salary higher than I was being paid before, for comparable job functions, better management (I hope) and about the same commute. Hopefully by this time next week I'll be comparing offer letters. I'm so excited!
In the meantime, I need to schedule out how I'm going to spend the rest of my free time, to get done what really needs to be done. I definitely have more stuff to get done than I can do in just this week and weekend. This looks to me like a week and a half of stuff.

Compile list of marital property
Gardening
Replant peas, radishes and lettuce where they got drowned out or didn't come up
Buy fruit trees, plant
Settle on a tree for the front yard, buy and plant
Finish weeding front flower bed
Mulch front flower bed
Weed front circle
Mulch front circle
Writing and Entertainment
Post grossness guru to terror_scifi
Post Defended entry for heroes_contest
Finish up that Hiro/Gabriel fic
Finish up Confinement, post with invitation to rp
Keep up on MBU
Post last edited MBU chapter
Post Heroes rewatch notice
Check over the next Wall Verse chapter and post/publish
Revise the last Wall Verse chapter with new beta notes (might morph into two chapters)
Watch Supernatural and/or Lie to Me and/or some of those Milo Ventimiglia reccs Meanie sent me (I keep saying I'm going to do these, but I keep not actually doing them!)
Finish reading Life and How to Survive it, review/summarize, return to library (another thing I keep saying I'll do, but don't)
I'm very stoked about things.
