Oh, thank you so much. Those really are sweet and you are the strangest therapist I've ever had, pushing these different methods of coping with stress, patiently and persistently. To my immense surprise, they actually work! LOL. I say that because I've for so long been a stalwart disliker of anything cutesy or girly or "soft" ... yet damned if it doesn't make me feel all warm and happy inside to look on these little guys.

That whole page of bunnies the other day, too! I went to Google Image search and typed in merely, "bunnies". It turned up I don't know how many pictures, but what surprised me was that even with Safe Search entirely off, there was not a single risque picture the whole page. It was just bunnies - fluffy ones, baby ones, cute ones, chocolate ones, rabbits, hares, floppy eared ones, bunnies in teacups, bunnies in people's hands. I looked at all of them, thinking about what life would be like to be an inoffensive rabbit rather than a stressed whatever-I-am. It made me feel better. Thank you.

Hmmm, I like Peter thinking about other ways to give Sylar what he needs. This is really great. I love the premise of Sylar hurting himself to get some TLC. And Peter going along with it. "Pretending to take care of someone". Ha! Like they are playing doctor. It's very cute and sweet. All these teases in fic form are wonderful things to get the imagination going!

They really are playing doctor in a way. There's a lot of simple kid's games I think they'd role play through in The Wall - playing doctor, playing house, tag, hide and go seek, king of the hill ... truth or dare ... spin the bottle ... :D

Honestly I think that's what Sylar (and Peter) need - someone to engage with them, play out basic roles, play and practice, allow and accept as they go through the motions with each other, getting used to it.

Glad you liked it!

I do like the idea of Sylar hurting himself so that Peter will take care of him. It's both sad and kind of sweet. I liked that Peter was wondering if he could maybe think of other ways to give Sylar what he needed. It definitely fits into Peter's character that he likes taking care of other people and likes playing nurse with Sylar. I also think that Sylar would have issues with being direct with Peter and saying that he needs human contact, especially when there's the whole Nathan issue. Hence the "accidental" injuries.

Thank you! For me, the turning point was when Peter realized, but still played along with it. I think most people would have made a fuss right then and there - at being manipulated, or about knowing the truth. Peter just mildly went on while he gave it a good thinking-through.
